Ok so the hotdogs were not really made from octopus but they were made to look like octopus. The other day Angela found a really cool way to make hotdogs for the boys that made them look like little octopus. Since Brandon loves hotdogs and kids love fun food it was a hit!
If you want to create a similar adventure for your kids all you do is slice the hotdog partway up to make the tentacles and then boil them in water to get them to curl, it’s very easy. I am not sure if it would work with a veggie dog or a tofu one but you could always try it.
After lunch the boys wanted to read a story. Owen and Brandon decided on reading the same book and so they hopped up on the couch together and Owen read to Brandon. This is not a normal activity for them as they usually end up fighting over either the book they will read or who gets to turn the pages and when. Even though Brandon looks serious there were no issues.
